Array-On is a spin-off of the IPK - Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research in Gatersleben and was founded in July 2003 by Dr. Joerg Geistlinger and Dr. Dirk Fischer.

Array-On analyses numerous individuals at SNPs in the same genes simultaneously on a single DNA chip. The method is called “poly-dimensional” and allows up to 20.000 allele calls in one miniaturised reaction chamber over the microarray.
