Fluidigm Corporation
Solutions through fluidics at the micro-scale using miniature valves, pumps and channels that act within a chip as fluidic circuitry
Fluidigm was founded as Mycometrix Corporation in 1999. The company’s core technology was developed by Stephen Quake at the California Institute of Technology.
In 2004, Fluidigm Corporation received a USD 21 million financing led by EDB Investments Ptd Ltd. (EDBI), and Invus, LP. These funds will primarily be used to expand interantional sales, marketing and support.
