The centre maintains libraries of human and mouse EST clones which are processed to provide diverse types of glass-based DNA microarray slides. DNA from other sources may also be used to manufacture slides. Affymetrix GeneChip® technology services are used for genome-wide RNA expression profiling in a wide range of species including Homo sapiens, Mus musculus, Rattus norvegicus, Arabidopsis thaliana, Drosophila melanogaster, Saccharomyces cerevisae and E. coli.
In addition to that, microarray and bioinformatics courses as well as consulting services are provided.
