QIAGEN Added to NASDAQ-100 Index

QIAGEN N.V. (NASDAQ: QGEN; Frankfurt, Prime Standard: QIA) today announced that its common shares will be included in the NASDAQ-100 Index effective as of the start of trading on December 21, 2009. The NASDAQ-100 Index comprises the top 100 non-financial securities listed on The NASDAQ Stock Market based on market capitalization. Launched in January 1985, the NASDAQ-100 Index includes companies across major industry groups.
