Illumina Reports Financial Results for First Quarter 2009

For the first quarter of 2009, Illumina reported revenue of $165.8 million, a 36% increase over the $121.9 million reported in the first quarter of 2008. The Company reported net income for the quarter of $18.8 million, or $0.14 per diluted share, compared to $10.7 million, or $0.08 per diluted share in the comparable period of 2008.
