Luminex Corporation Reports First Quarter 2008 Results

Consolidated revenue for the first quarter of 2008 was $23.0 million, a 38.6 percent increase over first quarter 2007 revenue of $16.6 million. Net loss for the first quarter of 2008 was $1.2 million, or ($0.03) per share, compared with net income of $136,000, or $0.00 per share, for the same period last year.
