Luminex Corporation Reports Fourth Quarter and Year-End 2006 Results

Revenue for the fourth quarter of 2006 was $14.2 million, a 23 percent increase compared with $11.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2005. Revenue for the fourth quarter of 2006 consisted of $5.9 million from the sale of 206 Luminex Systems, $3.7 million from the sale of consumables, $2.2 million in royalties, and $2.4 million of other revenue.
