TeleChem International, Inc., was founded in 1993 by René Schena and Todd Martinsky and markets the comprehense ArrayIt™ line of products for making and using DNA and protein biochips. The ArrayIt® Life Sciences Division was set up in 1996. TeleChem International, Inc. also has a Chemicals Division and a Diagnostics Division.

Telechem is regarded as the fast-growing private biotechnology company in the United States, in which the company has numerous awards recognising this development.
