XanTec’s SPR (surface plasmon resonance) biosensors are able to analyse macromolecular interactions in real-time and label-free, providing scientists with a valuable tool for studies in the fields of immunology, molecular biology, cell biology and biochemistry. SPR sensors can be used for the quantification of adsorption and desorption processes in non-biological systems.

Xantec’s nanocoatings are not only available for SPR sensordiscs and ASI sensorchips; saccharide-based coatings are available for protein biochips with a thickness in the low nm range. These are very stable against non-specific interactions.
