ProteomeLab™ IgY Proteome Partitioning Systems

The systems provide advanced sample preparation for the isolation and analysis of protein-based biomarkers from biofluid proteomes, such as plasma, serum, CSF and urine. Based on avian-generated antibodies bound to inert beads, ProteomeLab IgY-12 liquid chromatography and spin columns selectively partition the 12 most abundant proteins—up to 96 percent of the protein mass—from human/primate serum or plasma. The IgY-R7 chemistry is optimised for rodents to effectively remove 7 highly abundant proteins from rat serum or plasma. The enriched proteome includes medium- and low-abundance proteins, is the primary target for biomarker discovery.
