Array-Technology:
Affymetrix GeneChip® Expression Monitoring: As official Affymetrix Service Provider, KFB is able to carry out projects on all available GeneChips®.
Affymetrix GeneChip® DNA Analysis: Only 250ng og genomic DNA per array are required to interrogate tens of thousands of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in a single experiment.
Conventional Array Expression Monitoring: DNA arrays spotted on glass or plastic slides are the most flexible type of microarrays. A plethora of conventional arrays are available for purchase from different companies and labs. Many of them are designed for focused analysis of only a few dozen to a thousand transcripts.
TaqMan Expression Monitoring: With a detection limit of 5-10 mRNA molecules, qPCR is the method of choice when only minimal amounts of sample are available. In addition, qPCR is an essential tool for microarray data validation.
