3-D simulation software used for creating models of technical scientific phenomena; especially for simultaneous modelling of phenomena of different branches of physics

FEMLAB is a part of the COMSOL Group, which has offices worldwide. Femlab itself is located in Germany. The company was founded as a subsidiary of the COMSOL Group in July 1986. It has established itself especially in the fields of applied physics and mathematics. The FEMLAB software product was brought to market in August 1988.
