Oxford Gene Technology IP Ltd
Development of the multiple fields of use of DNA microarrays (anti-sense reagents and probes, gene expression analysis, genotyping and resequencing)
Oxford Gene Technology (OGT) was founded by Professor Ed Southern and the Oxford University in 1995 to exploit patented technology developed in his research laboratories at Oxford University.

OGT Arrays are made either custom in situ synthesis of DNA sequences, which results in an oligonucleotide covalently bound with one end to the surface of the platform. Or InkJet printer technology licensed from Rosetta Inpharmatics and Agilent Technologies. The surface is glass, and the arrays are made for anti-sense selection, gene expression and gene expression databases, genomic research as well as genotyping and resequencing.
