SNP-IT™ primer extension is a method of isolating the precise location of the site of a suspected SNP. The inherent accuracy of DNA polymerase to determine the presence or absence of the SNP is exploited. SNP-IT can be used on platforms such as mass spectrometry, microarrays, elctropads, flow cytometry, fluorescence (polarisation), electrophoresis, HPLC or optical density.
SNPstream™ is a 25K SNPstream system is available, a 50K system is coming out soon. The system is based on a OEM robotic system for proprietary SNP-IT primer-extension scoring assays.
The SNPware™ kit comprises approximately 10 reagents to be conducted on the SNPstream system.
