National Center for Genome Resources (NCGR)


Software for the access, integration and analysis of different biological data types


The NCGR is a non-profit research organisation founded, with the support of Senator Pete Domenici, in 1994.

NCGR programmes in Bioinformatics and Computational Systems Biology have resulted in software tools that are freely available to the scientific community and for those at nonprofit institutions.

The Comparative Map Viewer is a graphical client enabling the integration of different types of genomic data from different sources.
GeneX-Lite is a collaborative internet database and toolset for gene expression data.
PathDB is a database of biochemical pathways and metabolism and can be visited at NCGR’s homepage. This is a joint collaboration between New Mexico State University and the National Biotechnology Information Facility.
