NCI Microarray Facility at the ATC (Advanced Technology Center)

Basic as well as clinical cancer research; a collaboration between the National Cancer Institute and the National Human Genome Research Institute called Tissue Array Research Program (TARP)in respect to tumour microarray and technology development

The Center for Cancer Research has existed since 21 January 2001, when two divisions of the National Cancer Institute were merged (namely the Division of Basic Sciences and the Division of Clinical Sciences). This was done in order to combine basic research with work done at the clinic.
