Non-profit collaboration on microarray technology
The NMC is a non-profit collaboration between the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, the University of Bergen (UiB) and the Norwegian Radium Hospital (Dnr HF)/University of Oslo (UiO) for DNA microarray technology in Norway and related services for Norwegian scientists.
Services include customised printing, scanning, expression profiling, data analysis and genomic profiling. The NMC makes rat, human mouse, zebrafish and Arabidopsis arrays and uses commercially available Agilent, Affymetrix, Amersham Biosciences, NimbleGen and Applied Biosystems arrays. BASE (LIMS), J-Express, EGOn, PubGene, Gene Annotation, SciCraft, MCGH software are used for data analysis. The in-house spotted microarrays provided from NMC are for research purpose only.
