Microarrays, DNA chips

DNA-chip and micro-arraying technology bears great promises for research and diagnosis and is of major interest to a large group of Dutch researchers. Through the “ArrayNL platform” researchers want to disseminate the technology by sharing their progress and experiences and by coordinating efforts like obtaining interesting clone collections, etc. Current efforts include:
construction an electronic mailing list of a National group of interested researchers;
collecting interesting information on all aspects of the chip and arraying technology (see task forces);
spreading the gathered information by E-mail and through the ArrayNL-platform WWW-site, in collaboration with the Leiden Genome Technology Center (LGTC);
where desired - coordinate efforts e.g. to obtain large clone collections;
the organization of chip/micro-array workshops to meet and discuss the technology;
