Chimera Biotec was founded in Mai 2000 as a spin-off from the University of Bremen by Drs. M. Adler, G.Blanke, C.M. Niemeyer and K. Meier.
It is privately owned and divided into three departments: diagnostics, customised chips and surfaces. Laboratories are located in Bremen and Dortmund, Germany.
