Center for Applied Genomics (CAG)
DNA microarray technology, functional genomics, microchip fabrication
The Center for Applied Genomics at the International Center for Public Health (ICPH) is devoted to research in biology and medicine using novel functional genomic approaches, with its primary focus being in application and further development of DNA microarray technology.
The CAG was established on 1 January 2000 as an interdisciplinary and multi-institutional alliance among PHRI, the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ)-New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) and the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).
The CAG has three sectors, namely the Microarray Core Facility, The Bioinformatics Department and the Microarray Development section.
