The company’s proprietary Peptides-to-Drugs (P2D) discovery platform is the basis for Jerini’s lead drug candidate. Icatibant is currently undergoing Phase III clinical trials in Europe, USA and other countries testing the suitability of the drug for the subcutaneous treatment of hereditary angioedema (HAE). The company has compounds in the pipeline for the treatment of age-related macular degeneration.
The subsidary JPT Peptide Technologies focusus on pepdide arrays. The PepSpot™ and PepStar™ (microarrays on glass slides) platforms enable the study of protein-protein interactions. The peptide arrays are used for profiling kinases, phosphatases and proteases. PepSpot™ enables the production of hundreds of identical peptide arrays.
