Genomic Solutions

Production and marketing of genomics , proteomics and high-throughput screening instruments

BioImage Systems Corporation was established in 1994, which is the predecessor of Genomic Solutions, a name which was adopted in 1997. Nearly at the same time, the product line was shifted from stand-alone software to genomic/proteomic systems.

In autumn 2001, Genomic Solutions sold off its proteomics contract services to a novel company, Proteomic Research Services.

On December 18, 2001 Cartesian Technologies became member of the Genomic Solutions family thus extending GS’s microarrayer instrument line.

Genomic Solutions is now a subsidiary of Harvard Bioscience. In spring 2003, Genomic Solutions aquired GeneMachines, and BioRobotics was acquired by Genomic Solutions during the third quarter of 2003 for its microarray technology.
